Jazz on the Lawn has a new location in Santa Monica, CA

Most people find that Jazz is the great equalizer, it bring all ages, ethnicities and on top to have it for free is just amazing.

This Sunday August 5th, 2012 will launch the seventh year of Jazz on the Lawn at a new location.

1836 Stewart St, Santa Monica is the new home of Jazz on the Lawn.

The program will start 5pm and continues until 7pm. The “Dustbowl Revival” will be performing. They are a Venice-based jazz group playing New Orleans swing, gypsy jazz, Appalachian folk and jug-band blues.

On August 12th, 2012 the Zane Musa Quartet will be playing a saxophone blend of traditional jazz with contemporary music.

On August 19th The Ron Gutierrez Band featuring Leslie Paula will perform salsa, Latin Jazz and Cha Cha . From St Peters Basilica, the Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center to name a few places Ronnie has entertained his audience and now at the Santa Monica “Jazz on the Lawn”

The final performance will be on August 26th, 2012 Rogelio Mitchell & Friends will close by playing Calypso, reggae and jazz.
