Posted by on 8:45 am in Active Rain | 0 comments

Los Angeles is the Car Capital of the World!! Often you hear that the Car Capital of the world is New York or Detroit.  Let’s be honest: Los Angeles has more cars than any other city and the variety is unparalleled. Most people think of Los Angeles as the Entertainment Capital of the World. Let’s be real the Entertainment Capital provides a large cash flow which allows most entertainers the luxury of buying Cars from all over the world in all price points. Often times you see me blog about cars I see on the road. Not wanting to bore my readers, I could do ten blog posts about the cars I see at the stop lights or heading to the nearest stop light. Well today it is about the Excalibur!  I am posting about a very special car I saw the other day on the road: The Excalibur! If you have never seen it here you go. If you are wondering the price point it is one of the more reasonable cars. ($19,000-$50,000 is the going rate). The Excalibur’s story begins around 1963 at the Studebaker Factory where Brooks Stevens has been a design consultant the Excalibur is his creation. (He is mostly recognized for designing the Avanti) Some people call the Excalibur the “Mercebaker” since it is similar to the 1928 Mercedes SS and since Studebaker had been originally a Mercedes distributor! If you are not in Los Angeles but in Australia or New Zealand you can of the see the Excalibur’s rented out for Weddings and Special Occasion. If you see them in Los Angeles it is clearly a car aficionado who is driving itJ   So if you love cars and want to see or drive them all year around clearly you need to relocate to Los Angeles. If you want to buy an Excalibur then reach out directly to: Camelot Classic Cars, Inc 8428 W. Blaze Pizzeria in Pasadena,CA

Posted by on 12:34 am in Active Rain | 0 comments

Blaze Pizzeria in Pasadena, CA As most of you who read my Blog Posts regularly know how much I love going to Pasadena, CA, the home of one of the best Independent Bookstores called Vromans. Often I have written about it, a couple years ago I was saddened that they closed a part of the store with its separate entrance, where used to buy all our stationary from paper to pen. Needless to say on many of my journeys we notice they opened a Pizzeria. As most of you know I am a bit of a snob when it comes to pizza. It has to be very tasty and have a thin crust. As you know having relocated from Boston, MA to Los Angeles the search for the best Pizzeria has been an ongoing quest for me.  I found one in Malibu after many years of disappointments and one on the West Side near UCLA as well by the same owners. Well I must admit there is another fantastic Pizzeria and it is Blaze in Pasadena, CA. It is build your own Pizza by the numbers. It is truly fun, more importantly it is different from the ordinary pizza, but very delicious. If you are in Pasadena and do not know what to eat how about a Pizza, guaranteed you will not be disappointed. Well enjoy the pictures and make it your destination to stop by and eat there. If you love thin delicious pizza this will sure to meet or exceed your expectations. One of my friends commented that it was not that thin when I posted a Speechless Sunday Photo about it, well I am sure he will reconsiderJ after seeing these pictures! Blaze Pizzeria – 626-440-7358 667 E Colorado Blvd (next to Vromans) Pasadena, CA 91101 http://www.blazepizza.com The Best part is as I was doing my research about this Blog Post I discovered that they have numerous Pizzerias all over the Country so if you see one near you do check it out. The Marina Del Rey’s 51st Holiday Boat Parade will be on December 14, 2013 The Boat Parade is always a fun event, you run into likeminded people and neighbors who you might not have seen for a long time. The best part our Boat Parade viewing does not require driving and searching for a parking placeJ. We live less than 500 yards from the Channel so cocktail in hand we go and enjoy the parade as well as the fireworks. So if you are in Marina Del Rey, CA and live near the Ocean or the Channel you basically have the luxury of front row seats for the Boat Parade. If you do not live near the water come early, because often times the streets get closed down.   Looking for parking there are numerous County Parking Facilities nearby and under $6 you can park and enjoy the Boat Parade. This year’s Grand Marshalls will be Jeannie Buss & Phil Jackson of Lakers’ fame. Century City, CA is becoming a key patron to the Arts in Los Angeles!

Posted by on 6:54 am in Active Rain | 0 comments

Century City, CA is becoming a key patron to the Arts in Los Angeles!   As I casually drive and walk through Century City I keep discovering Art. The Animals on Avenue of the Stars are still thereJ . I am thrilled that the community decided to keep them. It makes driving amongst the large Concrete Buildings a Joy!   This past Friday, I was walking through the Westfield Mall again and I discovered the Thinker (Wire Sculpture) see enclosed post   link http://actvra.in/47S6      I kept walking and found this statue and there were three different variations of this same statue. I only took one picture since I was late to a meeting. It was clear to me that there is a great direction Century City is heading. The community is becoming a key patron to the Arts. I hope the rest of Los Angeles will follow their example!   If you are considering buying or selling a luxury home, an ultra luxury home, luxury investment real estate, luxury vacation homes, or luxury beach properties in Southern California, Los Angeles, Century City, Westwood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Marina Del Rey, Venice or Malibu, feel free to contact me at 310.486.1002 or homes@endrebarath.com or visit one of my websites at https://www.endrebarath.com.   I am a pet friendly realtor and I contribute a portion of my commissions to local animal rescue...

Casual Dining at the Enterprise Fish Co in Santa Monica, CA

Posted by on 7:54 am in Active Rain | 0 comments

Casual Dining at the Enterprise Fish Co  in Santa Monica,  CA.     As most of my regular readers know, I love seafood and casual dining. Needless to say we often stop in at the Enterprise Fish Co. in Santa Monica, CA. As you know I have blogged about their atmosphere and food quite often.     As far as I am concerned there is a benefit of having causal, laid back seafood dining and a very relaxing atmosphere. Check out their website http://www.enterprisefishco.com/santamonica/        Lately I noticed that there is more of an Asian flair than previously. So I did some research, sure enough the executive Chef is Bruce G Choi, clearly I was right. There are more lighter, soy infused dishes and even more so you can tell on the fresher fare, such as Dungeness crab, Ahi tuna and I could go on and on.   Instead I will show you a few pictures and makes sure you put the Enterprise Fish Co on your must visit destination if you want good food, casual dining and reasonable prices. The best part is even the wine selection is great and reasonably priced.   In case you missed it here is a previous blog of mine about this great restaurant   http://actvra.in/Skg       If you just want to reach out to them directly here you go:     174 Kinney St. Santa Monica, CA 90405 United States Phone: 310-392-8366   If you are considering buying or selling a luxury home, an ultra luxury home, luxury investment real estate, luxury vacation homes, or luxury beach properties in Southern California, Los Angeles, Century City, Westwood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Marina Del Rey, Venice or Malibu, feel free to contact me at 310.486.1002 or homes@endrebarath.com or visit one of my websites at https://www.endrebarath.com.   I am a pet friendly realtor and I contribute a portion of my commissions to local animal rescue organizations....

Beverly Hills Supply & Demand Statistics Month by Month for SFR !!!

Posted by on 7:00 am in Active Rain | 0 comments

Beverly Hills Supply & Demand Statistics Month by Month for Single Family Residences!!!   I have been compiling the statistics for the past two years of Single Family Residences in Beverly Hills. Needless to say the month by month figures are important for your review in order that you can make good decisions about buying or selling a home. Interestingly the most frequently asked question to me has been “…what is the Inventory like…” as well as what are the “sold statistics”. Needless to say as I saw the figures and they confirmed what I have been suspecting all along. Just as an example November 2011 there were 318 homes for sale in Beverly Hills vs. November 2013 there were only 212 homes for sale that was a 33% drop of inventory.       Not surprisingly when there is a drop of inventory it goes hand in hand that sales would be down as well. What I was surprised by was that the numbers were truly minor in difference. Per cent wise it sounds like a large number 12% drop from November 2011 to November 2013, but the reality was only a three (3) sale difference and needless to say that could have been an after effect of slower Appraisals, delays with Lenders just to name a few reasons.   So if you see a “sound bite on the news or on the internet” Inventory has dropped 33% and sales are down 12% do not be alarmed, the price points have increased 41% during this same time period and there is a demand from buyers who have been on the sidelines for the past few years.       If you need representation to buy or sell your home, please reach out to me directly. I am a pet friendly realtor and I contribute a portion of my commissions to local animal rescue organizations. –...

Beverly Hills Sold Properties are down by 12%

Posted by on 8:14 am in Active Rain | 0 comments

Beverly Hills Sold properties are down by 12%   This would be the headline without discussion of the fact that Sales prices are up 41% as you saw in my previous blog post for your convenience I am enclosing it here for your review: http://activerain.com/blogsview/4265987/median-for-sale-vs-sold-in-beverly-hills-ca-month-by-month-up-by-41-#short-url-holder     The entire picture is clear 26 Single Family homes sold in the month of November 2011 and 23 Single Family homes sold in the month of November 2013 so the reality is a small difference of 3 properties. That could have been delayed due to Appraisals being late or Lenders not moving at the pace we would like. The reality is that the Median Price was $2, 1019,250 in 2011 and in 2013 the Median Price was $2,840,000. This is clearly amazing, well here are the Charts and Statistics see it for yourself. Now if you are considering purchasing or selling your home in Beverly Hills please reach out to me directly! I am a pet friendly realtor and I contribute a portion of my commissions to local animal rescue organizations. –...
