The number of homeless animals (primarily dogs and cats) in Los Angeles alone is staggering. Many find their way to local animal shelters, where thousands are euthanized annually.  Some of these animal are fortunate enough to be 'pulled' from the shelters by rescue organizations, where they are cared for and nurtured and given a second chance at life.

These rescue organizations face huge ongoing costs to care for the many animals under their care until a new home is found for these animals.
